Thomas Woodrow Faucette
    BURLINGTON — Thomas Woodrow Faucette, 87, of 3358 Burch Bridge Road, died Tuesday March 30, 2004, at 10:05 p.m. at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill following a brief illness.
    A native of Alamance County, he was son of the late Thomas Brooks and Nanny Saul Faucette and husband of Frances Patterson Faucette, who survives. He was the retired owner of Glen Raven Exxon, a member of Bethlehem Christian Church, and an avid sportsman.
    Survivors include his wife Frances Patterson Faucette; four children, Holt Faucette and wife, Cathy, of Elon, Phillip Faucette and wife, Peggy, of Burlington, Trudy Aiken and husband, Buster, of Burlington, and Steve Faucette and wife, Teena, of Snow Camp; grandchildren, Joey Faucette, Theresa Bell, Brent Parker, Timmy Faucette, Steven Faucette, Brandon Faucette and Amber Aiken; great-grandchildren, Cody Parker, Madison Bell, MacKenzie Bell, Brianna Paulette and Santana King. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Millard and Coy Faucette; and sister, Gertrude Faucette.
    Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2004, at the Bethlehem Christian Church by the Rev. Dave Gilbert. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Faucette will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory until taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral services.
    The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 this evening, and at other times at the home of Trudy and Buster Aiken, 3846 Burch Bridge Road, Burlington, NC.
