Eula Jeffreys Wellons
Mrs. Eula Jeffreys Wellons, 94, a resident of the Village at Brookwood, died Saturday, December 16, 2017.
A native of Graham, Mrs. Wellons was the wife of the late Herbert N. “Buddy” Wellons and the daughter of the late John Henan Jeffreys and the late Mary Amanda Cates Jeffreys.
Mrs. Wellons is survived by two sons, Mr. John F. Wellons and wife Bobbie of Burlington, and Mr. Stephen Neal Wellons and wife Jackie of Asheville; four grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Peggy Jeffreys Teer and husband Lemuel of Graham.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Wellons was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Herbert “Bud” Wellons.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the First Christian United Church of Christ.
The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Officiating will be the Rev. Mark H. Pickett. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215 or to First Christian United Church of Christ, 415 S. Church Street, Burlington, NC 27215.
