Beulah Cook Chrismon
BROWNS SUMMIT — Beulah Cook Chrismon, 93, died on Saturday, April 18, 2009, at Hospice Home of AlamanceCounty.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m.Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at Apple’s Chapel Christian Church with the Rev. Allen Myers III, the Rev. Rosser Lee Clapp and the Rev.Tim Geiger officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Chrismon was born in Guilford County to the late James Alfred and Georgia Ann Huffines Cook. She was a devoted member of Apple’s Chapel for many years and was faithful to bring food and send cards to the sick.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Iverson Chrismon; four brothers; two sisters; a great-grandchild and a great-grandson, Joshua Chrismon; and son-in-law, Richard Williams.
Survivors include a son, Melvin Ray Chrismon and wife, Carol, of Gibsonville; daughters, Lelia C. Faucette and husband, Marcus, of Browns Summit, Velma C. Williams, of Greensboro, Donna C. Loye and husband, Glenn, of Gibsonville, and Vickie C. Brooks and husband, Teddy, of Burlington; 12 grandchildren; and 11 greatgrandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Apple’s Chapel Christian Church on Monday, April 20, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m.
