Linda McLean Davis
   BURLINGTON –— Linda Diane McLean Davis, 65, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the Hospice Home.

   She was born in Durham County, the daughter of the late James Morris McLean and Mary Luree Hicks, who survives. She was married for over 43 years to William Boyce “Bill” Davis Jr.

   Linda was a Senior Human Resources Consultant with LabCorp for 23 years, an LPN and a member of First Baptist Church of Gibsonville. She was a proud member of the Wings to Recovery at ARMC, which is a recovery program for cancer patients.

   Survivors, other than her husband of the home and mother of Burlington, include her children, Pam (Matt) Welch of Boston, Mass., W. Boyce (Monica) Davis III of Graham, Beverly (Jay) Smith of Mebane; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Ally, Lulu, Will, Olivia, Caleb, Madison, Austin and Kirsten; and a brother, James John “Jim” McLean of Rougemont.

   She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Lorena McLean.

   The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jim Upchurch, with burial to follow in Gibsonville City Cemetery.

   The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Friday evening at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and at other times at the home.

   Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215 or to First Baptist Church of Gibsonville, 221 Piedmont Ave., Gibsonville, NC 27249.
