BURLINGTON – Peggy Campbell Wagner, 88, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2020 at Alamance Heathcare. She was born in Orange County to the late William Campbell, Sr. and Swannie Rudd Campbell and was married to the late William Jessie Wagner.
Peggy retired after many years from Western Electric- AT&T as well as Lucent Technologies as a layout operator. She was a member of Harvest Hills Church of God where she taught Sunday school as well as sang in the choir.
She is survived by her daughter; Donna Wagner Duncan and husband, Dennis Duncan, Sr.; Grandson, Dennis James Duncan, Jr. and wife, Christin, Great Grandchildren; Mya Grace Duncan and William James Duncan, sister; Mary Elizabeth “Betsy” Barnwell and brothers; James Campbell and William “Bill” Monroe Campbell, Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at 3:00 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Russell Morris.
