Betty Zane Rudd Belcher, 90, of Haw River, NC passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025 at AuthoraCare Hospice Home.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Charles B. Belcher and the daughter of the late Willie Russell Rudd and the late Sally Margaret Wilson Rudd. She was a member of Haw River United Methodist Church where she participated in the church choir and Sisters in Service. She was also a member of the Haw River Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Senior Citizens Club of Haw River and a retired employee of Western Electric.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Beth Belcher and Teri Belcher; sister, Mary Sykes and her husband Arnett; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Sessoms Rudd and Dorothy K. Rudd; and her beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Rudd and William Rudd.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Haw River United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am prior to the funeral service. The committal service will take place immediately following the funeral service at Haw River Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial be made to Haw River United Methodist Church, 127 Church Circle, Haw River, 27258. 261, Betty Zane Rudd Belcher
