William Henry Blaylock 

    BURLINGTON — William Henry Blaylock , 78, of 362 Stoney Creek Church Road, died Saturday, March 5, 2005, at Hospice Unit of Moses Cone Hospital after several months of failing health.

    He was a native of Caswell County.

He was the son of the late James Weldon Blalock and Mary Oakley Blalock. He was the husband of Mary Simpson Blaylock .

    He retired from Burlington Mills after 20 years of service. He worked for Granite Finishing for 18 years. He also worked for Winn Dixie. He was a member of Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church.

    Survivors include his wife of the home; daughter, Brenda Blaylock  Minor, of Burlington; grandchildren Bobby Minor and wife Janci of Graham, Ann Watkins and husband Travis of McLeansville, great grandchildren Jessica Minor, Brad Minor, Brycen Minor, and Jason Boggs; sisters, Allie Clayton of Mebane, Margaret King of Burlington, and Nan Blackard of Burlington; and brothers, George Franklin Blalock of Prospect Hill and Joe W. Blalock of Burlington.

    In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Frances King, Sallie Aldridge, and Lizzie Pritchett.

    The service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2005, at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church with the Elder Wallis Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

    The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 6 until 8 this evening. Other times they will be at the residence.
