BURLINGTON — Rosa Ann Blalock Cobb, 95, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at the Homeplace after a critical illness of two weeks.
The Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015, in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at noon prior to the service. There will be a private burial in the Burchwood Annex City Cemetery in Roxboro.
Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. is serving the Cobb family.

Rosa Ann Blalock Cobb, 95, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Homeplace after a critical illness of two weeks. She was born in Caswell County to the late John Thomas Blalock and Rosa Oakley Blalock and was married to the late Leonard Oakley Cobb who died in 1997. Rosa retired from Woodard-Lothorp Department Store and was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. The celebration of life service will be held 1:00pm Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor David Jackson. The family will receive friends at 12 noon to 12:45pm prior to the service. There will be a private burial in the Burchwood Annex City Cemetery in Roxboro. The family would like to say "Thank You" to the staff of Homeplace and the Hospice nurses and CNA's for their loving care and support during their aunt, Rosa's illness.
