Faye Smith Dabbs
 

 GRAHAM — Amanda Faye Smith Dabbs, 82, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family. She was born in Alamance County to the late Howard Glenn and Lenora Rudd Smith and was married to the late Carson Ira Dabbs, who died in 2007. Faye was a homemaker and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
 
 Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Bonny Dabbs; grandchildren, Amanda Jane Cook and husband Kevin and Michael “M.J.” Dabbs; great-grandchildren, Briana Cook, Kailyn Cook and Hailey Lynn Dabbs; and brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Joyce Smith.
 
 She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Michael “Mike” Dabbs; and brother, Ronald “Ronnie” Smith.
 
 The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2016, at Tabernacle Baptist Church by the Rev. Norman Fargis with burial to follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
 
 The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. and at other times at the home.
 
 The family would like to express their gratitude to Faye’s caregiver, Lynetra Chappell, and the caregiver assistants, Trish Korpela and Caroline Prather, for all the love and compassion that they showed to Faye during her illness.
 
 Memorials may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 515 N. Marshall Street, Graham, NC 27253 or to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
