OBITUARIES Mrs. Dorothy  Elaine "Dot" Page Jackson 
    BURLINGTON — Mrs. Dorothy  Elaine "Dot" Page Jackson , 75, of 2217 Woodland Avenue went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at Edgewood Place. She was the wife of Bruce Butler Jackson  for 51 years and a native of Caswell County.
    Dorothy  retired as a Registered Nurse from Alamance County Hospital after 41 years working as a supervisor in the Operating Room. She was a member of Grove Park Baptist Church and a member of the Seekers Sunday School Class. Dorothy  graduated from Anderson High School in 1948 and completed her nursing degree in 1951 from St. Leo’s Hospital in Greensboro. She loved her family and shared Christ’s love with people she helped through her many years of nursing.
    Survivors include her husband, Bruce Butler Jackson  of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Bettie J. and Larry Sliauter of Alpharetta, Georgia; son, Gary L. Jackson  of Dunn, NC and her grandchildren, Elizabeth A. Martin of Greensboro, Jennifer E. Jackson  of Dunn, Page  and Will Gamel both of Alpharetta, Georgia; sister, Mary P. Collins of Eden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy. L.A. Page  and Bettie Kernodle Page ; brother, Roy L. Page , Jr.
    The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Grove Park Baptist Church by Dr. Gene Hunsinger and Mr. Bill Vickrey and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2005 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
    In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grove Park Baptist Church, 108 Trail One, Burlington, NC 27215.
