Inez (Smith/Lowe) Robertson
BURLINGTON - Inez (Smith/Lowe) Robertson, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Alamance County, she was born June 16, 1924 to the late Harvey Cime and Ora May Terrell Smith and was the wife of the late Benjamin “B.G.” Garland Robertson.
Inez was a longtime member of Peoples Memorial Christian Church. She was a hardworking, dedicated and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her children, Leonard A. Lowe and wife Pam, Diann Lowe Johnson, Wanda Lowe Howell and husband Jim, Sherry Lowe Vogler and husband Dale and Tom Lowe and wife Jackie; ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren; siblings, Paul Smith, Garland Smith, Jeanette Holden and Elva Allen and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Nathaniel M. “Nat” Lowe; second husband, “B.G.” Robertson, parents and siblings, Edward Smith, Odell Smith and Shirley Smith.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00pm on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor David Grinnell with the entombment to follow at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends 6-8pm on Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home and other times at her daughter, Diann’s home in Whitsett.
