YANCEYVILLE - L. B. Aldridge,Jr. age 79 passed from this earthy life to his Heavenly Home, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at his home.
Born April 19, 1938 to the late Lonnie Burch Aldridge, Sr. & Linnie Rudd Aldridge, in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Elsie A. Rudd and Arteil A. Cobb. L. B. lived in Caswell County all his life and enjoyed the outdoors, farming, landscaping and logging, also he was an avid hunter & fisherman.

His favorite things to do were spending time with his family, friends and wonderful neighbors; along with going to listen to Gospel music. He retired from the town of Yanceyville on April 23, 2003 after sixteen years of service.
Surviving is his loving and devoted wife of over fifty-eight years Louise Webster Aldridge of the home; two daughters Sonja A. Loftis (Danny) of Burlington, Rita A. Jenkins (Bill) of Franklington; his son David Aldridge (Lorrie) of Yanceyville; five grandchildren Tina Idol, Jesse Loftis, Heith Aldridge, Shaylyn A. Lynskey, Preston Aldridge; six greatgrandchildren Nevaeh Stroud, Savannah Loftis, Jayden Aldridge, Kaley Aldridge, Anna Lynskey, Lyvia Lynskey; four nieces Gloria Page, Alane Pope, Sharon Warren, Terry Gusler; several great nieces & nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Beulah Baptist Church by Rev. Mark Cobb & Rev. Bob Hillman. Interment will follow in the church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior (2- 3 p.m.) to the service at the church and other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers the Family request that memorials be made to Community Home Care & Hospice 2541 South Church Street, Burlington, NC 27215 or to Beulah Baptist Church c/o Phyllis Bowes 3078 N. C. Hwy. 119 North Leasburg, NC 27297.
