JAMES PETE RUDD of Natchitoches, LA, formerly of Cocoa, FL, died at home after battling lung cancer.
James is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ann Driskill Rudd; children, Jimmy (Kim) Rudd of Cocoa, FL and Barbara (Randy) Flowers of Winter Haven, FL; grandchildren, Dennis Arnold, Jeffrey Bell, William Personette, all of Winter Haven, FL and Daniel and Karli Rudd of Cocoa, FL.
Jim was an instructor/electrical engineer, instructing U.S. Navy personnel for 30 years at Cape Canaveral, FL and at Kings Bay, GA Naval Submarine Base. He was a 10 year, U.S. Marine Corps veteran who was a decorated Vietnam veteran. James is a member of American Legion Post 10 and VFW Post 1962 in Natchitoches and was a member of the First Christian Church of Cocoa, FL.
