Hazeline Perry Rudd
November 4, 1925 ~ April 15, 2021 (age 95)
Burlington-Haizeline Rudd, 95, passed away due to injuries in an auto accident on Thursday, April 15, 2015. She was a native of Caswell County and the wife of 72 years to the late Robert Lee Rudd.
Hazeline retired from Tower Hosiery. She was a member of Powerline Church of the Nazarene. Hazeline was an accomplished seamstress making a lot of her own outfits. She enjoyed cooking and was known for her chocolate and lemon meringue pies. Hazeline spent many happy hours being a homemaker taking care of her house and family by providing wonderful meals. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her son, Mike Rudd and wife, Doris of Haw River; grandchildren, Michael Rudd and Emily Rudd (Alex) Holbrook; sister, Evelyn Perry Smith of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Marshall and Ella Blanch Kimbro Perry; sister, Francis Everhart and brothers, JM and Delmar Perry.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev Jerry Gardner.
The burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:45-10:45 am prior to the service and other times at the home of Mike and Doris Rudd on Trollingwood Road in Haw River.

Burlington-Raymond Lee Rudd, 94, passed away due to injuries in an auto accident on Thursday, April 15, 2015. He was a native of Caswell County and the husband of 72 years to the late Hazeline Perry Rudd.
Raymond retired from Harris Teeter and was a US Army veteran of WW II. He was a member of Powerline Church of the Nazarene. Raymond played semi-pro baseball in his youth. He was an avid golfer and spent many happy hours working in his yard. Raymond in his golden years walked 4 miles everyday even when he had to use a walker. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his son, Mike Rudd and wife, Doris of Haw River; grandchildren, Michael Rudd and Emily Rudd (Alex) Holbrook. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Jones and Edna Smith Rudd; sisters, Elizabeth Rudd Riley, Nettie Mae Newman and Mary Bryant; brothers, Raleigh and Clyde Rudd.
