Ellen Snodgrass Whitaker, 75, of Gibsonville, NC passed away at her residence on Monday, November 20, 2023 following several months of declining health.
A native of Arkansas, she was the wife of Richard Eugene Whitaker, who survives and the daughter of Charles Phillip Snodgrass and Hilda Snodgrass, both deceased. She was a retired teacher with the Alamance Burlington School System and Haw River Elementary School.
In addition to her husband of their home, survivors include a daughter, Alicia Whitaker-Stokes and husband Eston Smith Stokes, III and three grandchildren, Ryan Ward, Maisey Ward, and Finley Stokes.
A graveside service will be conducted at Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane, NC on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 2:00 pm by Rev. Steve Janicello. 261, Ellen Snodgrass Whitaker
