OBITUARIES Anna Laura McPherson Smith
SNOW CAMP — Anna Laura McPherson Smith, 82, of 6910 Beale Road, died at 8:20 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2004, at her residence after two months of failing health.
A native of Alamance County, she was a retired beautician and a lifetime member of Rock Creek United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Boyd Lynn McPherson of Snow Camp, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Smith; her parents, Henry Dewitt McPherson and Hattie Rawnsley McPherson; two sisters, Josie McPherson and Rachel Brintle; and four brothers, Raymond McPherson, Jack McPherson, Donald McPherson, and William McPherson.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Rock Creek United Methodist Church by the Rev. William Jeffries. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at McClure Funeral Home in Graham and other times at the residence.
