Bobby Dallas Andrews
GIBSONVILLE — Bobby Dallas Andrews, 69, of 1237 Bird Road, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Kindred Hospital after a prolonged illness. Mr. Andrews was a native of Guilford County and was born to the late Russell Lee and Elsie Mae Byrd Andrews. He was married 51 years to Virginia Andrews, who survives. Bobby was an avid hunter and retired from Lowes Foods.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Andrews of the home; daughters, Wanda Gann and husband, Chris, of McLeansville, and Lisa Fields and husband, Randy, of Danbury; a son, Kenny Andrews and his wife, Wendi, of Cedar Point; seven grandchildren, John Gann, Sarah Gann, Olivia Fields, Madailein Fields, Katie Andrews, Jessica Andrews and Samantha Andrews; a sister, Betty White of McLeansville; two brothers, Tommy Andrews of Gibsonville and Terry Andrews of Mebane.
Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Margaret Ingle.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2011, in the Gibsonville City Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Allred officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
