HAW RIVER — Charles Dewey Sharpe, 83, of Haw River, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2008, after several months of declining health and was reunited with his beloved wife Helen who died in 2004.
He was born in Alamance County, to the late Paul D. and Alice Sharpe. Dewey was a former employee of Isley’s Grocery in Graham.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; sisters, Mary Lee Smith, Annie Mae Anthony and Dixie Lineberry; and brothers, Mark, Tom and Max Sharpe.
The graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
