Mr. Brodie James Terrell
BURLINGTON — Mr. Brodie James Terrell, 87, of 2008 Kerr Chapel Rd., passed away Friday, April 24, 2009, at the Hospice Home. Mr. Terrell was born February 24, 1922, in Caswell County to the late Johnny and Pearl Davis Terrell. He was the husband of the late Margaret Taylor Terrell, who preceded him. Brodie was retired from auto body work and was an avid farmer and an outdoor sportsman. He also was a member of Kerr’s Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughters, Janice Walters, of Burlington, Deborah Paschal and her husband, Terry, of Burlington, and Jean Foster and husband, Bobby, of Burlington; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; a brother, Clyde Terrell, of Burlington; and two sisters, Louise Simmons, of Burlington, and Jeanette Short, of Kentucky.
Mr. Terrell was preceded in death by his wife; a son, Richard Dean Terrell; four sisters; and five brothers.
A funeral service will be held 4:00 P.M. Monday, April 27, 2009, at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Darrell Massey. Interment will follow at Kerr’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 3-5 P.M. Sunday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times the family will be at the home of his daughter, Deborah and Terry Paschal, 2453 Hodges Rd., Burlington.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Alamance Health Care, Bayada Nurses, Caswell County Home Health, Hospice of Alamance Caswell, and Alamance Regional Medical Center for all the care they gave Mr. Terrell.
