Mildred Magdalene Stewart Pollard
BURLINGTON — Mildred Magdalene Stewart Pollard , 80, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 11, 2007, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after two years of failing health. She was born in Alamance County, daughter of the late Early Franklin and Susie Winters Stewart and was married to the late Dewey Lee Pollard .
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Maryjo Pollard of Burlington; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Richard Ensminger of Boone; grandchildren, Justin, Jessica, Franklin and Nannette; and three greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Arthur, Fred and Rubert Stewart.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 7 p.m. at Long’s Chapel Christian Church by the Rev. James Baughn and Pastor Bud Wrenn.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall, and at other times at the son’s home, 2741 N.C. 49 North, Burlington.
The family would like to thank the staff of Alamance Health Care for taking special care of Mrs. Pollard .
