Obituary Online notes for Iona Ruth HARDEN
BURLINGTON – Iona Ruth Harden Aldridge, 92, passed away Saturday July 27, 2019 at White Oak Manor. She was born March 7, 1927 in Alamance County to the late John Milton and Nannie Lee Massey Harden and was married to the late James Harris Aldridge.

Mrs. Aldridge retired from Burlington Industries. She loved to cook, especially for her family and enjoyed working in her yard.

In addition to parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers; Calvin Harden, John Milton Harden, Ralph Milton Harden and a sister Mary Rebecca Webster.

She is survived by her sons; James Harris Aldridge, Jr. (Carol) and William "Billy" Aldridge (Gail); grandchildren, Wendy Hinshaw, Melissa Aldridge, Christy Herndon (Chad), Leslie Hill (Jeff); great grandchildren, Jamie Hinshaw, Ashlyn Paschal, Hailey & Carley Herndon, Jase & Ella Hill.

There will be a graveside service 11:00 AM Tuesday at Alamance Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.
