Ira Odell Joyner, 82, of 2358 NC 87 died Saturday, Feb. 21, 1998, at Clapp's Nursing Center.
Graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
A native of Rockingham Co., he was a son of the late William Lewis and Ada Lee Dixon Joyner and had lived in the Williamsburg Community for the past 50 years.
He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Cletus Brown Joyner of Clapp's Nursing Center; son, Robert Norris Joyner of Gulfport, Miss.; daughter, Carolyn Joyner Bason of Charlotte; brother, W.H. Joyner of Reidsville; sisters, Louise J. Lawson of Rockwell, Inez J. Till of Reidsville, Lorene J. Sutton of Chapel Hill and Darnese J. Stone of Reidsville. 470, Ira Odell Joyner
