Paul Hunter Keck

    REIDSVILLE — Paul Hunter Keck, 88, of 1267 County Line Road, Gibsonville, N.C. went to be with the Lord Tuesday February 24, 2009.
    Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, 2009 in Evergreen Memory Gardens with military graveside rites.
    A native of Rockingham County, he was a son of the late Jacob V. and Luxora Faucette Keck and had lived most of his life in Rockingham County. He was a retired millwright at Cone Mills White Oak Plant and had previously worked at Burlington Mills Mayfair Plant, Cone Mills Revolution Plant and Glen Raven Knitting Mill in Altamahaw.
    He served with the Army Corps of Combat Engineers during World War II, and was preceded in death by a brother Jacob Keck, Jr.
    He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
    The family will see friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26 at Citty Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of his nephew, Jerry Keck, 1320 County Line Road in Gibsonville.
