Obituary Online notes for David Thomas SOYARS
Mr. David Thomas Soyars, 74, formerly of Patrick County, VA went to be with his Lord at the Virginia Medical Center in Salem, VA. He was a son of of the late Major Thomas Soyars and Georgia Cruise Soyars.

He was a World War II veteran and served in the US Navy.

He was a member of Buffalo Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church for over 49 years.

Survivors include one brother, Silas Grant Soyars of Danville, VA, three sisters, Virginia Soyars Wrenn of Elon, NC, Minnie Soyars Troutman of Graham, NC and Jessie Soyars Martin of Martinsville, VA.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Paul Soyars and Earl Soyars, four sisters, Vera Soyars Campbell, Mabel Soyars Stephens, Ava Soyars Klutz, and Jeanette Soyars Caricofe.

Graveside services were held at Buffalo Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard.

Moody Funeral Home in Stuart, VA was in charge of arrangements.
