Mike Black, 69, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016.
He was born in Caldwell County, NC, but lived most of his life in Burlington, NC.
He was the son of Barney and Faye Hughes, both deceased.
He retired from LabCorp in Burlington after a long career as an electrician.
Survivors include his son, Todd Black, Todd’s wife Margaret and their children Rachel and Nathan from Cumming, GA; along with Mike’s four siblings, Larry Hughes and wife Ann of Gibsonville, Jerry Hughes, Donna Hughes, and Terry Hughes and wife Penny, all of Burlington, NC.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, June 17,
2016, at the Rich and Thompson Funeral Home located at 207 E. Elm Street, Graham, NC. The family will receive friends, share stories, and remember his life the way he would have wanted.
