MEBANE — Brenda Hudgins Allison McDaniel, age 68, of 1871 U.S. 70, Lot #3, died Sunday, June 13, 2010 in her home following six months of declining health.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Otha and Ardoth Hudgins of Gibsonville.
She is survived by her son; Richard Hampton Allison II of the home; a daughter, Donna Maria Paschal and husband, Jim, of Gibsonville; grandchildren, Ricky Lee Stallings Jr., Brittany Renee Stallings, Heather Nicole Hart, Ethan Vance Allison, William Vance Allison and Trinity Cheyanne Paschal; great-grandchild, Cooper James Stallings; special nieces, Tara Fuqua Bolden of Four Oaks, N.C., Alison Hinton Harrelson of Reidsville, N.C. and Shannon Grigg Buchanan of Goldsboro, N.C.; special nephew, Timothy Jay Grigg of Goldsboro; and special cousins, Rebecca Sue Boswell of Mebane and Aldrow and Ann Dollar of Swepsonville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne McDaniel; a son, Ricky Lee Stallings Sr., and two sisters, Patricia Hudgins Grigg and Sandra Hudgins Hinton.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lindsay Westbrook and the staff of Hospice of Alamance-Orange County.
She was a whole body donor.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Lighthouse Chapel, 1243 St. Regis Drive, Burlington. The family will receive friends at the home.
