Linda George Faircloth 
    MEBANE — Linda George Faircloth , 56, of 609 Ponderosa Trail, died at 2:45 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill after seven months of failing health and a critical illness of two months.
    Survivors include her husband, Shelton F. Faircloth  of the home; a son, Shelton F. Faircloth  Jr. of the home; two sisters, Mary Lou Whitesell of Gibsonville and Louise Butler of Snow Camp; and four brothers, Billy George  and Robert George , both of Mebane, Charles George  of Georgia, and Clint George  of Burlington.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mary George .
    A memorial service was conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 2005, at West Burlington Church of God by the Rev. Olin Tatum.
    McClure Funeral Service in Mebane was in charge of arrangements.
