Obituary Online notes for Phyllis Olivia BOLLENBACH
HAMPTON - Phyllis Olivia Scoggin, age 83, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006 at the Sentara CarePlex. A native of Elizabeth City County (Hampton), Phyllis was a retired civil servant and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She lived a full life in service to her Lord.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, of 26 years, Vance Scoggin. Phyllis is survived by a son, Donald Sutton of Newport News; her daughters, Debbie Moore of Poquoson and Jeannie Clark of Hampton; sisters Gladys Scott of Hampton and Margaret Boyd of Melbourne, FL; grandchildren, Robbie Roderick, Sabrina Christie and Meagan Clark; great granddaughter, Kara Thibodeau as well as many other loving relatives and dear friends.

A life celebration service will be conducted 12 noon Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at Liberty Baptist Church by the Rev. Joe Hunt with the burial immediately following in Peninsula Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care of Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home.
