SANDY RIDGE - Ben Douglas Robertson, 63, of Sandy Ridge, died March 20, 2003, at his home.
A Celebration of Life service will be held March 22, 2003, at Mayo Christian Church in Spencer, Va.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He was born in Rockingham County Aug. 5, 1939, to Jess Robertson and Dulcie Bryant Hundley Robertson.
He was a farmer and truck driver and was a member of Mayo Christian Church. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Hurd Robertson; daughters, Lea Walters (Van), Jessica Amos) and Tammy Bennett; sons Matthew and Andrew Bennett); sister Marquita Duncan (Arnold); half brother Sanford Hundley; half sisters, Wilma Ferguson and Ruby Joyce.
