Mildred Summers Mabe Williams 
    GIBSONVILLE — Mildred Summers Mabe Williams , 80, of 1110 E. Joyner St., passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at White Oak Manor. She was the wife of L.M. "Mack" Williams , and the daughter of the late K. Loftin and Effie Wyrick Summers . Mildred  was a native of Guilford County and retired from Dixie Belle. She was a member of Evangelical Methodist Church, where she had served as a Sunday school teacher, a member of the choir and the secretary and treasurer of the Evangelical Methodist Women.
    Survivors include her husband of the home; daughters, Janie Barker and her husband, Steve, of Gibsonville, Linda Hogan and her husband, Rudy, of Gibsonville; a son, Dennis Williams  and his wife, Jo Ann, of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Andrea (Rodney) Garrison, Jamie (Jodi) Hogan, Jeff (Summer ) Hogan; great-grandchildren, Hayden Garrison, Trinity Hogan, A.J. Hogan; brothers, Shelton Summers  of Burlington, Howard Summers  of Charlotte and Johnny Summers  of Gibsonville. She was preceded in death by a husband Nathaniel Junior Mabe ; two sisters and a brother.
    The celebration of her life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, which would have been her 47th wedding anniversary, at Evangelical Methodist Church by the Rev. Paul Speagle, and the Rev. Hobart Isley. Interment will follow in Frieden’s Lutheran Church cemetery.
    The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., and at other times at the home.
    Memorials may be made to Evangelical Methodist Church Building Fund, 407 Bethel St., Gibsonville, N.C. 27249.
