Obituary Online notes for Ada Lee BROWN
Ada Brown Pickrell, 85, of Reidsville, surrounded by her children, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.
A funeral service was held at 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Pellino officiating. The burial followed at Reidlawn Cemetery.
Ada was born on December 22, 1932, in Guilford County to Frank and Ollie Jones Brown. She loved flowers, gospel music and fishing. You could always get a meal at her home, the kitchen was always open. Most of all she was dedicated to her family.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, George Melvin Pickrell; brothers, John, Jack, Clyde and Worth Brown along with a sister, Pauline Cook.
Mrs. Pickrell is survived by sons, William Pickrell and wife Mary Ann and Howard Pickrell and wife Jeri; daughter Norma Blakley and husband Calvin; grandchildren, Melissa Pugh (Riley), Hunter Blakley (Megan), Ethan Pickrell, Haley Pickrell, Sarah Pickrell and Kenneth Neal(Brittany); great grandchildren, Zachary and Madison Pugh, Emma Blakley, Olivia Neal; bothers Bobby and Harvey Brown along with a large extended family.
