Billy Glenn Page BURLINGTON — Billy Glenn Page, 73, of 6257 Stoney Mountain Road, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Elijah Thomas Page and the late Blanche Stuart Page and was married for over 48 years to Mrs. Willie McKinney Page, who survives. He was retired from Keebler Company with over 28 years service and was a member of Lamb’s Chapel. Billy was an avid gardener and enjoyed fishing and treasure hunting with his metal detector.
Billy was survived by his wife, Willie Page, of the home; a daughter, Wendy P. Carter and her husband James, of Elon; a son, Mike Page and his wife Tammy, of Burlington; three grandchildren, Emily Carter, Matthew Page and Morgan Page; a sister, Hilda Bosquet and her husband Frank, of Charlotte and two brothers, Tommy Page and Mickey Page, both of Ocean Isle, N.C. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Betty Page.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 28 at the Lamb’s Chapel by the Rev. Brian Biggers. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church and at other times at the home of his daughter, Wendy, 2011 Gibsonville-Ossipee Road, Elon. Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Page family.
