OBITUARIES Mrs. Jennie Dennis Scott 
    BURLINGTON — Mrs. Jennie Dennis Scott , 82, of 2502 Woodridge Road, Burlington, died Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
    A native of Randleman, she was the daughter of the late John Bennett Dennis  and the late Donnie Holland Dennis , and the wife of the late Floyd Edward Scott .
    A retired secretary with Burlington Industries, Mrs. Scott  was also a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, where she was active in various church activities, including membership on the Board of Trustees and the United Methodist Women.
    Mrs. Scott  is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Lisa Scott  Bowes and her husband, David, of Burlington; sisters, Ms. Edith Dennis  of Twin Lakes and Mrs. Aldine Jobe of Graham; and her brother, Bill Dennis  of Caswell Beach. Mrs. Scott  was a devoted grandmother to Heather Bowes Lewis and her husband, Ritchie; and a devoted greatgrandmother to Brittany, Morgan and Jacob. She was preceded in death by her sister, Maize Randolph; and her brother, Jimmy Dennis .
    A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2005 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Burlington. Officiating will be the Rev. Lee Roy Pittard III. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington, from 7 until 9 this evening, July 14, 2005, and at other times at the residence. 3, Mrs. Jennie Dennis Scott
