Satira Elizabeth Pleasant Warren
PROSPECT HILL — Satira Elizabeth PleasantWarren, 91, of 11535 Highway 86 South, died Saturday, May 16, 2009, after a brief illness. Born in Person County, Mrs. Warren was the daughter of the late Jack and Minnie Tatum Pleasant and wife of the late Henry Warren. Mrs. Warren was a homemaker and a member of Hebron United Methodist Church in Hightowers.
Mrs. Warren is survived by her daughters, Rita Solomon and husband, Ed, of Prospect Hill, and Juanita Penny and husband, Vann, of Graham; two brothers, Arch J. Pleasant and Henry N. Pleasant, both of Hurdle Mills; four grandchildren, Todd Solomon, Kevin Solomon, Amy Hamlett and Christopher Penny; and 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs.Warren was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Pleasant.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Hebron United Methodist Church by the Rev. Benny Church. Burial will follow in Cooper Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Brooks & White Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the home.
Pallbearers were Earl Smith, Coy Mabe, Todd Solomon, Kevin Solomon, Christopher Penny and Jason Hamlett.
