ALAMANCE C. Everett May, 83. died Sunday in Memorial Hospital of Alamance after two years of failing health and two days of critical illness. A native of Alamance County, he was son of the late John 'and Sarah Catherine Isley May and husband of Mattie Shoffner May, who survives of the home. He was a retired employe of Kayser- Roth and was a member of Alamance Lutheran Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Mrs.. Nell Foster of Alamance, Mrs.. Ruth Sharpe of Rt-1. Burlington, and Mrs.. Doris Davis of Rt. 3. Graham; two sons, Richard May and Cecil May. both of Alamance; five brothers, Johnnie May. Goley May and Lon May, all of Alamance. Coy May of Rt. 1. Burlington, and Curry May of Burlington; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Final rites will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Alamance Lutheran Church by the Rev. Robert Q. Beard, pastor. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park, Burlington, Alamance County, North Carolina. The family will receive friends at Rich Thompson Mortuary in Burlington tonight from 7 to 9
