Obituary Online notes for Beulah Maxine BLAKLEY
Beulah Blakley Anderson, 87, of 2500 Old 87 passed away Monday March 3, 2008 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
She was the wife of the late Lawrence E. Anderson and the daughter of the late Hobert and Julia Sparks Blakley.
Beulah was a native of Surry County and retired from Monarch Hosiery Mill. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church, the Ladies Circle and the Adult Bible Class of the church.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her daughters; Andrea Braxton and her husband Wade of Elon, Becky Sutton and her husband Danny of Elon, Janice Loy and her companion Ed Lipscomb of Elon, grandchildren; Cindy Ward, Michael Brooks, Bill Phillips, Julie Litten, Lee Ann Williams, Joey Madren, Andy Braxton, Jamie Sutton, step grandchildren: Edward Lipscomb, David Lipscomb, Brian Sutton, Pam Brooks, Chris Sutton, seventeen great grandchildren and a sister Louise Somers of Reidsville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a daughter Wanda Brooks and four siblings.
The funeral will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at Fairview United Methodist Church by Rev. Jared Hanson.
Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home of Andrea Braxton, 2504 Old 87, Elon.
