Daymon Monroe Euliss
BURLINGTON — Mr. Daymon Monroe Euliss, 83, of 1312 Queen Ann Street, Burlington died at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Monday, August 31, 2009 after a lengthy illness.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Blanche Chriscoe Euliss and Hazel R. Euliss, who survives. He was a retired general contractor for residential homes for his company, Daymon Euliss Builders. He was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include his daughter, Marie Burns of Burlington; three grandchildren, Erin Burns, Chris Burns and John Burns; and a sister, Vanner Graves of Burlington.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Euliss; three sisters, Sadie Henderson, Virgie Rierson and Georgie Coble; and two brothers, Russell Euliss and Melvin Euliss.
A graveside service will be conducted at Friendship
United Methodist Church Cemetery on Wednesday,
September 2, 2009 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Jerry Martin.
The family will receive friends at the Rich &Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m.
