BURLINGTON — Mrs. Linda M. Shoffner, 73, of Burlington died at the Hospice Home on Monday, May 4, 2015, at 5:15 a.m.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Hartsell C. Moser and Audrey Patterson Moser, both deceased. She was a retired payroll and personnel supervisor with the University of North Carolina. Linda was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Randy K. Shoffner and wife Donna of Burlington; four grandchildren, Brian K. Shoffner, Mikala S. Johnson, Emily I. Smith and Jessica B. Smith; and two greatgrandchildren, Brayden
G. Shoffner and Scarlett R. Johnson.
The funeral service will be conducted at Friendship United Methodist Church on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Henry Swanzey and the Rev. Alvin
M. Horne with the family receiving friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Burial will be in Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Other times the family will be at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friendship United Methodist Church, 4612 Friendship- Patterson Mill Road, Burlington, NC 27215 or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
