Chapel Hill, NC – Mrs. Deanna Isley Moore, 79, of Chapel Hill, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024, at her residence.
A native of Alamance County, NC, Mrs. Moore was the wife of the late Beverly C. Moore, Jr. and the daughter of Jacob Dean Isley and Edith Angelyn Hargrove Isley, both deceased. She was an Office Manager for Class Action Reports and Administrator at Georgetown University as well as a Music Education Teacher. Mrs. Moore was a member of Friendship Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Caroline Rodier (Rob) of Asheville, NC and Alice Moore of Cocoa Beach, FL; two grandchildren, Sadie Rodier and Frances Rodier; two brothers, Col. Rex Isley, Retired (Marlene) of Arab, AL and Dr. Tim Isley (Dr. Randy Johnson) of Chapel Hill, NC; three nephews, Dean, Chris and Jason; and a sister-in-law, Warren Moore Miller (Bill). Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Bentham Moore.
A graveside service will be conducted at Friendship Church Cemetery, on Friday, June 14, 2024 at a11:00 am, by Rev. Mike Kelly.
