Obituary Online notes for Jarushia E. HARRIS
Jarushia Harris Teague, 90, of 40 Ed Clapp Rd., died Monday, Feb. 23, 1998 at Chatham Hospital.
A native of Chatham County, Mrs. Teague was retired from the A.J. Schneierson Co. and was a homemaker. She was a member of Rocky River Baptist Church, had served as secretary of the Loyalty and Light Bearers Sunday School Class and was a member of the Young at Heart Group.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Wednesday, Feb. 25 at Rocky River Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Burriss officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Catherine W. Buckner of Siler City, Edna Perry Hart of Greensboro and Dora Beane of Concord; three sons, Fred J. Culberson of Graham, John D. Culberson and A.P. Culberson, both of Siler City; two sisters, Josie Culberson and Ava Williams, both of Siler City; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

*Jarushia married Fred Culberson August 23, 1928. She married Lonnie David Teague August 15, 1958. Both of them were widowed when they were married. Lonnie Teague and his first wife are buried in the same cemetery as Jarushia and Fred. 470, Jarushia E. Harris Culberson
