BURLINGTON - Gladys Graves Loy of Burlington, 88, entered eternal life on Monday, November 5, 2018.
A native of Alamance County, she was born May 24, 1930, one of four children to Paul M. and Novella
Isley Graves, both deceased.
She and the late Donald A. Loy were married 56 years before his death in 2005.
Gladys was also preceded in death by her siblings; Faye Coble,Christine Graves and Cline Graves.
Her spirit is carried on by her five children, nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Survivors include children: JoAnne Carter and Robbie of Mebane, Sharron Butler and David of Snow Camp, Greg Loy and Karen of Burlington, Drew Loy of the home , and Sandra Wood and Jim of Snow Camp.
Grandchildren include Brian Carter (Jennifer), Daniel Carter (Penny), Kelly Butler Inman (Jerry), Janna Carter Wimbish (Chris), Mindy Carter Wertheim (Darren), Suzanne Butler Sharpe (Jason), Paul Carter, Ross Wood (Ashley), and Mason Wood.
Great Grandchildren include Megan, Emily, Chase, Zachary, Noah, Casey, Brandy, Ashley, Tucker, Hunter, Payton Summer, Brayden, Sawyer, Amy, LJ, Griffin, Addison, and Smith. 3, Gladys Graves Loy
