Cleo Dixon Clark Draemer


    GRAHAM — Mrs. Cleo Dixon Clark Draemer, 91, of 1987 Hilton Road, Burlington, formerly of 600 Johnson Avenue, Graham, N.C., died Sunday, December 27, 2009, at Alamance Health Care of Burlington after two years of failing health.
    Born in Alamance County, she was retired from Kayser-Roth Inc. She was a member of Graham Friends Church and Andrews Memorial Baptist Church.
    Survivors include her daughters, Rita Clark Agnew of Graham, Wanda Clark Whitaker and husband Richard of Kernersville, N.C.; grandchildren, Teddy Glenn Clark, Angie Wellons Jones and husband Steve, Casey Garrard Whitaker, Zachary Clark Whitaker and Christopher Keith Clark; and four great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leonard F. Clark; second husband, Paul Draemer; parents, Edward Barthen Dixon and Bessie Iola Curtis Dixon; sons, Teddy Richard Clark and Keith Leonard Clark; four sisters and one brother.
    The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. and at other times at the home of Rita Agnew, 738 Aspenwood Drive, Carolina Oaks.
    A celebration of Cleo’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel, Graham, N.C. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
