Barbara Kay Fogleman Foster


GIBSONEVILLE - Barbara Kay Fogleman Foster, 75, passed away suddenly Friday, May 17, 2019 at her home. She was born in Guilford County to the late Clinton Dennis and Minnie Esther Moser Fogleman and was married for 56 years to Robert “Bobby” “Mutt” Ervin Foster who died February 8, 2019. She was a member of Low’s Lutheran Church and formerly owned and operated Lovely Lady Beauty Salon and Tropical Seasons Tanning Salon in Gibsonville. She loved spending time with family and friends especially at the beach and the lake.
She is survived by her son, Todd Foster (Susanne Talcott); daughter, Penny Gray (Dean); grandchildren, Justin Gray, Kristi Likins (Jay), Casey Foster, Destiny Gray; a great granddaughter on the way, Ellie Grace; sisters, Becky Rumley, Juanita Wicker and a brother, Frank Fogleman (Donna). She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby, parents and siblings, Gladys Turner, Mildred Risley, Blanche Norwood, Dewey Fogleman, C.D. Fogleman and Jimmy Fogleman.

The funeral will be held 4:00 PM Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Matthew Clapp with interment to follow in Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home and other times at the home.
