GREENSBORO - Daniel Henry Clapp, 82, of Greensboro, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at his residence with his loving wife by his side.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 20, at Tabernacle Baptist Church. The burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

Henry was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church for over 60 years and served in the United States Army during World War II.

He was preceded in death by three sisters.

Henry is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mildred Clapp of the home; daughters, Becky Sizemore (Harold) of Randleman and Karen Sweeney (Charles) also of Randleman; son, Danny Clapp (Sharon) of Thomasville; sister, Lucy Brickley of Newport News, Va.; and brother, John Clapp of High Point. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
