GRAHAM — Amy Sue Metcalf Holbrook , 80, of 4823 Salem Church Road, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2007.
Survivors include sisters, Betty Knighten of Graham and Johnnie Moorefield of Burlington; and a brother, Hoyt Metcalf of Pittsboro.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

HIGH POINT - Mr. Colon Cansel Holbrook, age 80, of William Booth Garden Apartments died Friday, July 8th at GrayBrier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Archdale, where he had been a patient for the past month.
A resident of this area for most of his life, Mr. Holbrook was born July 21, 1930, in Guilford County, a son to the late John Riley and Bessie Beck Holbrook Roberson. He was a U S Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. He was a friend of Bill W.
Colon is survived by a sister, June Holbrook Frazier of Archdale and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with the Reverend Ardis D. Payne and the Reverend Martin Frazier officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 pm Tuesday, one hour prior to the service.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Caring Services, 102 Chestnut Drive, High Point, NC 27262. Online condolences can be made at www.cumbyFuneral.com. Arrangements by Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale.
