BURLINGTON — Paula B. Martindale , 76, of 118 Alamance Road, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2005, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Banner Elk, N.C., she was the wife of the late Norman L. Martindale , and the daughter of the late Gurney and Brazilla Braswell Duckworth. She was retired from Kayser-Roth Hosiery, and was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Julia M. and Randy Minor of Graham; sisters, Wilma Hicks of Newland, N.C., Mary Moser of Burlington, and Mildred Buchanan of Morganton, N.C.; brothers, Gurney Duckworth Jr. of Boone, Ted Duckworth of Burlington, and Wayne Duckworth of Spruce Pine, N.C.; two grandchildren, Nikki Surrette and Randy Dale Minor Jr.; and three great-grandchildren, Haleigh Surrette, Morgan Davis, and Scott Surrette.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Duckworth.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by the Rev. Garland Simmons, and the Rev. Billy Allen.
Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the residence of Julia and Randy Minor, 211 Hall St., Graham, N.C. 27253.
