Judy Smith Robertson, 80, of 1609 Wood Ave. Burlington passed away at AuthoraCare Hospice home on Friday, January 5. 2024.
A native of Alamance County, she truly cherished being the wife of the late Zack Taylor Robertson Jr. and the daughter of James Ward and Mozelle McAdams Ward, both deceased. She was the oldest of eight children. She retired from Gold Toe Socks. Judy enjoyed playing BINGO and playing games on the computer. She also enjoyed watching soap operas on TV. But most of all she loved her Family.
Judy was of the Christian faith and her family includes a son Jimmy D Smith (deceased), three daughters, Jerri Deaton (Steve), Monica Wrenn (Rocky) and Susan Swaim; seven brothers and sisters, Jean Guthrie, James “Bubber” Ward, Joe Ward (deceased), Jackie Holt, Jeanette Nicholson, Janice Mallone (deceased) and Johnny Ward; her grandchildren whom she dearly loved, Angie Smith, Kim Smith, Kristin Wrenn, Taylor Watson, Caleb Swaim and Elaina Swaim Summey (Scott); great grandchildren, Anyah & Allie Vongsavanh and Justin Mitchell Jr.; and many niece and nephews.
The funeral services will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service. 261, Judy Carol Robertson
