Margaret Ann Byrd
Margaret Ann Byrd, 88, of Elon passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Saturday, January 16, 2021.
A native of Caswell County, she was the daughter of Drewey Allen Byrd and Vera Walker Byrd, both deceased. She worked as a bookkeeper for King Hunter Construction Company. Margaret was a member of Congregational United Church of Christ in Greensboro.
Margaret is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by three sisters; Edna Blanche Byrd, Clara Byrd Pope, Wilma Byrd Boone and five brothers; Roy, Wilbert, Hassel, Harry and Levi Byrd.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Bert Patrick, her daughter Ellen Patrick and to Blakely Garrity for all the wonderful care given to Margaret.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.
