    BURLINGTON — Max  Edward Kuhne , 82, formerly of Oak Ridge Court., died Friday, October 6, 2006 at the Hospice Home.
    A native of Hutson County, N.J., he was the son of the late William and Anna Sonnenberg Kuhne , and husband of the late Ruth Goelz Kuhne . He was a retired employee of AT&T, having worked 31 years at Manhattan and Guilford Centers.
    Survivors include his daughters, Gail Teer and husband, Terry, of Burlington and Susananne Becker and husband, Michael, of Stokesdale, N.C. and grandchildren, Kristy Becker and Tyler Teer.
    The funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m., today, October 8, 2006, at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Reverend Reid Dickens. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family received friends Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. At other times they will be at the home of Gail Teer.
    The family wishes to express a special thanks to the Hospice Home, Alamance Cancer Center and to Dr. Gitten and staff. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road., Burlington, N.C. 27215.
