Fronnie Dixon Litten
(1915 – 2015)
BURLINGTON — Fronnie Dixon Litten born Sept. 4, 1915, in Burlington, N.C., to Andrew Vance and Mary Hill Dixon, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, Jan. 11. She was a life-long member of Faith United Methodist Church in Burlington and a loving Christian mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell F. Litten; son, Russell
V. Litten; great-grandson,
C. Adam Pugh; and great- granddaughter, Holly M. Pugh.
She is survived by daughters, Dr. Amy Harman of Frostburg, Md. and husband Dan, Priscilla Pugh of Raleigh, N.C. and husband Charles, Frances Williams of Swepsonville, N.C. and husband Roman, Doris Jones of Graham, N.C. and husband Mark, and Margaret Atkins of Liberty, N.C. and husband William; sons, Fred Litten of Southport, N.C. and wife Kathy, Gilbert Litten of Burlington, N.C. and ex-wife Beverly, Mike Litten of Haw River, N.C. and wife Dawn, Phillip Litten of Burlington, N.C. and David Litten of Irvine, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Pat
H. Litten of Burlington; 27 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 10 greatgreat-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be conducted Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, at Faith United Methodist Church, 1732 West Davis Street, Burlington, at 1 p.m.by the Rev. William “Bud” Budzinski. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 11
a.m.to 12:45 p.m. At other times the family will be at the Litten family home, 1729 Greentree Road, Burlington.
